Manage Environmental Samples, Testing, Quality Control and Reporting
LabZila environmental lab LIMS helps laboratories manage water, wastewater, soil, sediment, air and waste samples through one connected system. Track field and laboratory records, chain of custody, preservation requirements, holding times, testing methods, QC reviews and final reports with clear traceability throughout the environmental testing workflow.
Manage samples, methods, custody records, quality control and reporting through one connected environmental laboratory workflow.
Register, barcode and track water, wastewater, soil, sediment, air and waste samples from collection through final disposition.
Configure analytes, approved methods, preparation steps, units, detection limits and acceptance criteria for each matrix.
Document sample collection, transfers, responsible personnel, receipt condition, storage location and handling history.
Import data from compatible analytical instruments and monitoring systems through supported interfaces and structured formats.
Manage blanks, spikes, duplicates, control samples, calibration records, exceptions and technical-review activities.
Organize controlled records that support applicable EPA programs, ISO 17025 activities and state-specific laboratory requirements.
Generate controlled laboratory reports, certificates and structured electronic data deliverables from reviewed results.
Apply role-based access and maintain traceable histories across samples, results, changes, reviews, approvals and reports.
Connect field sampling, chain of custody, laboratory testing, quality review and reporting through one traceable environmental workflow.
Capture sampling location, date, time, matrix, container, preservation details and field observations.
Verify chain of custody, sample condition, temperature and holding-time requirements, then assign a unique laboratory ID.
Assign approved methods, analytes, preparation steps, instruments and responsible laboratory personnel.
Review blanks, spikes, duplicates, calibration records, limits, qualifiers and testing exceptions.
Generate controlled laboratory reports and structured electronic data deliverables from reviewed results.
Issue approved reports and data files to clients or agencies through configured delivery channels.
Preserve custody records, methods, results, QC evidence, reviews, approvals and reports for authorized retrieval.
LabZila helps environmental laboratories maintain controlled records, traceable workflows and organized evidence for applicable regulatory and accreditation activities.
LabZila can support laboratories testing drinking water, wastewater, soil, sediment, air, waste and other environmental matrices. It can be configured around each laboratory’s sample types, analytical methods, quality-control procedures, reporting formats and accreditation scope.
LabZila can help laboratories control EPA method records, sample details, preservation requirements, holding times, QC data, technical reviews and reporting workflows. EPA requirements vary by regulatory program: drinking-water samples may require approved analytical methods, while many Clean Water Act analyses use methods published under 40 CFR Part 136. The laboratory remains responsible for selecting the applicable method and meeting current program, permit and jurisdictional requirements.
Yes. LabZila can generate controlled laboratory reports, result summaries and applicable certificates from reviewed data. Reports can include project, location, sample, method, analyte, result, unit, detection-limit, qualifier, QC and approval information according to the configured template.
A direct EPA ECHO integration should only be advertised after the required use case and technical connection are confirmed. ECHO is primarily an EPA platform for searching and analyzing facility compliance, inspection, violation and enforcement data; it is not a universal laboratory-results submission portal. LabZila may instead support APIs, data imports or project-specific exchanges where technically appropriate.
Yes. LabZila is a cloud-based LIMS that allows authorized users to access environmental projects, samples, testing activities, quality records and reports through a web interface. Deployment, availability, validation, data-residency and backup requirements should be reviewed during implementation.
LabZila can apply authenticated accounts, role-based permissions, controlled workflows, audit histories, encryption and backup controls according to the confirmed deployment configuration. Effective security also requires appropriate user governance, procedures, training and ongoing administrative review.
Yes. Templates can be configured around laboratory branding, client requirements, matrices, methods, analytes, units, detection limits, qualifiers, QC information and approval details. Structured electronic data deliverables can also be configured where the required file format and data specification are supported.
LabZila can be configured for multiple sites with location-specific projects, samples, users, methods, instruments, permissions and report templates. Shared dashboards can provide broader operational visibility while preserving site-level responsibilities and record traceability.
